Unistrut is the manufacturer of P1000 Channel. Designed to carry the heaviest loads and provide the widest variety of applications, the 1-5/8" series has become the accepted standard for use in mechanical, electrical and general construction applications where supports and attachments must meet the highest strength requirements.

The P1000 is our most popular "standard" Unistrut Channel. It is a 1-5/8" x 1-5/8" channel with a 12 ga (.105") wall. P1000 is used by contractors and engineers in the construction of commercial, industrial, nuclear and residential markets for over 75 years. Unistrut Metal Framing has set the standard for product design, quality and performance.

Unistrut Channel is available in the following finishes: Perma-Green® III (GR), Pre-Galvanized Zinc, Hot Dipped Galvanized, Perma Gold and Plain Finish.

Notes:
  1. Above loads include the weight of the member. This weight must be deducted to arrive at the net allowable load the beam will support.
  2. Long span beams should be supported so as to prevent rotation and twist.
  3. Allowable uniformly distributed loads are listed for various simple spans, that is, a beam on two supports. If load is concentrated at the center of the span, multiply load from the table by 0.5 and corresponding deflection by 0.8.
  4. The lateral bracing factor should be multiplied by the load to determine the load retained based on the distance between lateral braces.
